How it works
Your previous answers shape the questions you see. DegreeBazaar calculates simple preference signals from your responses and asks OpenAI to explain possible strengths, growth areas and career directions. The AI receives relevant online-programme catalogue options and can recommend only catalogue entries supplied to it. Structured names, email addresses, phone numbers, exact dates of birth and guardian approval codes are excluded from the AI request.
What it can and cannot tell you
The report is AI-assisted career exploration. It is not a validated psychometric test, IQ measure, aptitude exam, clinical diagnosis, hiring score or probability of success. It cannot guarantee a place at a university or a job. Missing information and self-report bias affect the result. Course facts may become outdated; confirm them with the university. Your interests can change and are not a fixed label.
Your choice and safeguards
We ask for explicit AI-processing permission before generation. Counselling contact is optional. Under-18 submissions require verified guardian approval. You can browse courses without taking an assessment. The AI is instructed not to diagnose conditions, infer protected traits, produce harmful content or invent university offers. These safeguards can fail: use “Report an issue with this AI report” inside the app to flag offensive, unsafe, biased or inaccurate output for our team to review. Reporting does not require leaving the app or consenting to marketing.
